I am not religious but as a monument it is quite beautiful. And it was confirmed at age 12 and a day later they asked us at Loreley Str. School that I would like to continue receiving religion classes and I answered what they did NOT ask me why not I wanted to, and I answered the priest that what I always asked him a question was he always answered me with a Bible verse and of course what I knew how to read it by myself, but what never gave me an answer to my questions. He tried to change my opinion but the more I tried the more my rebellion surfaced I even told him that he was to blame for having reached that decision made by me and about 35 students only contunrated 2. That is called DEMOCRACY. I think in this Church with nostalgia how something from my past and I also miss the city of COLOGNE - KÖLN for several reasons. Well, this is just an anecdote.
